Luny Tunes

Luny Tunes is a producer duo of the genres Reggaetón and "Hurban" (word creation from "Hispanic Urban"). The duo consists of

  • Francisco Saldaña ("Luny"), b. on June 23, 1979 in La Romana , a city on the south coast of the Dominican Republic and
  • Víctor Cabrera ("Tunes"), b. on April 12, 1981 in a location in the Cibao Valley, in the northwest of the Dominican Republic .

As namesake stood Warner Bros. Looney Tunes Pate.

life and career

Both grew up in Boston ( USA ); they later moved to Puerto Rico , where they initially worked with producer DJ Nelson. They became known to a larger audience in 2003 through the compilation "DJ Nelson presenta Luny Tunes & Noriega: Más flow".

An extraordinarily large part of Puerto Rican reggaetón has been and has been produced by them ever since. The duo produced many pieces and albums by reggaetón artists Tego Calderón , Don Omar , Wisin y Yandel , Daddy Yankee , Héctor y Tito , Ivy Queen , Glory , Eddie Dee , Julio Voltio , Yaga y Mackie , Zion y Lennox , des salsa- Artist Víctor Manuelle as well as his own albums, initially partly with the Puerto Rican producers Noriega and DJ Nelson, most recently with Baby Ranks, Naldo, Nely (“El arma secreta”), Nesty (“La mente maestra”) and Tainy as co-producers.
