MTV Game Awards
The MTV Game Awards was an award for video games given by the music network MTV . The nominations were made by a jury consisting of game journalists and professional video players. The winners were determined by online voting. The first award ceremony took place in November 2008.

MTV Game Awards 2008
The first MTV Game Awards took place on November 20, 2008 in the Berlin E-Werk and were televised by MTV . The show was moderated by MTV-VJs Hadnet and Joko . Presenters were Susianna Kentikian , Ole Bischof , Jade Raymond , B-Tight , Curse , Stefanie Kloß von Silbermond , David Garrett , Simon & Budi from MTV Game One , Elton , the Donots , KIZ and Farid. Presenters were u. a. The Scribt, Sido and Arctic Circle 18 . On the website of the MTV Game Awards, the following nominees could be chosen until November 18th:
