Marcus Hock (born March 26, 1982 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German handball player . He is 1.98 m tall.

Career

In his youth he played in Haibach for the local gymnastics club and for TSV Mainaschaff . He played 10 international matches for the junior national team. Later he made the leap into the 2nd Bundesliga via TV Kirchzell (B-youth German champions). The man from Lower Franconia moved to North Hesse and played for MT Melsungen for four years , with this club he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga.

After playing for HSG Wetzlar in the 2006/2007 season, he moved to the second division ASV Hamm in the summer of 2007. There reached third place in the table with ASV Hamm 04/69 handball in the 2007/08 season and became top scorer of the 2nd Bundesliga North Season with 308 goals. In the following year he was again the top scorer in the northern season with 258 goals. With the ASV Hamm 04/69 handball (since 2010 HSG Ahlen-Hamm ), he was promoted to the first division again in the 2009/2010 season. In summer 2011 he joined the HC Erlangen . In January 2012, Hock moved to the Swiss association TV Möhlin . In the same season, Hock and his team made it to the National League B. There he was the top scorer with 238 goals in the 2012/2013 season and, in addition to his role as playmaker, also acts as assistant coach to Wolfgang Böhme . Since summer 2014 he has been working as a player coach at TV Möhlin.
