Marek Harloff

Marek Harloff (born April 22, 1971 in Hamburg ) is a German actor , musician and voice actor .

Life

Marek Harloff grew up in a family of artists. His father Jan, like his grandfather Hans Harloff, is a director , his mother Annegret Harloff is an assistant director . His older brother Fabian is also an actor, musician and voice actor.

Harloff studied music because it was his wish to become an opera singer . He came to television after having been in front of the camera as a child when his brother Fabian was absent from a series and Marek stood in for him.

After this appearance he played in plays (at the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Nationaltheater Weimar ), in series (e.g. in Tatort , Ein Fall für Zwei , Die Kommissarin and Faust ) and in films. He played leading roles in films such as The Scream of the Butterfly (1999), Kaliber Deluxe (2000), Forget America (2000) and Blackout Journey (2005).

For his role in The Scorpion Harloff received an award at the Baden-Baden Days of TV Play in 1998 and for his role in Bella Block - Death of a Girl the RTL TV Prize Golden Lion .

Together with Jan Plewka and Stephan Eggert , he founded the band TempEau in 2004 .
