Marie-Therese Futterknecht

Marie-Therese Futterknecht (* 1972 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Marie-Therese Futterknecht completed an acting degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz . Her first engagements took her to the Grillo Theater in Essen and the Schauspielhaus Frankfurt . Further stations in her stage career were, among others, the Münchner Kammerspiele , in Vienna the Theater in der Josefstadt and the Volkstheater , the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf and the United Theaters of Bozen as well as the Theater Heidelberg . The feed servant was Princess Eboli in Don Karlos and Queen Elisabeth I in Maria Stuart , Rosaura in Life is a Dream or the wet nurse in Romeo and Juliet . She worked with well-known directors such as Jürgen Bosse , Volker Lösch , Bernadette Sonnenbichler and Jean-Claude Berutti . In 2005, 2014 and 2015, Futterknecht was a guest at the Bad Hersfeld Festival . There she was awarded the Hersfeld Prize in 2005 for her portrayal of Alkmene in Amphitryon , and in 2014 she received the Great Hersfeld Prize for her role as Maria Stuart in Friedrich Schiller 's drama of the same name . In 2016 she played at the Schloss- Spiele Kobersdorf in Michael Gampe's production Othello mustn't burst by Ken Ludwig .

Futterknecht's few television works included roles in the Austrian comedy film Zuckeroma and the series Angie with Mirja Boes in the title role. In 1994 she worked in an ORF radio production for Geierwally .

Marie-Therese Futterknecht is the mother of twins and lives in Munich.
