Marie Bierstedt (born October 30, 1974 in East Berlin ) is a German radio play and voice actress .

Life

Through her father, the voice actor Detlef Bierstedt , Marie Bierstedt came into the film business at an early age. She was seen in series such as Praxis Bülowbogen as early as the 1980s . In 1988 she played the leading role in the film The Moon Hunters . After graduating from high school, however, she concentrated on dubbing.

Marie Bierstedt is the German voice of Anna Faris , Kirsten Dunst and Kate Beckinsale , among others . Best known right now is her voice as Kristin Kreuk on Smallville and as Alyson Hannigan on Buffy . She also dubbed Tuva Novotny in Midsummer and Den Osynlige or Samaire Armstrong in OC, California , Rei Ayanami in Neon Genesis Evangelion , Kate Hudson in Glee , Michelle Ang in The Tribe and Clémence Poésy in the four-part series War and Peace and Bruges ... and Die ? . She also speaks Suiseiseki in Rozen Maiden and Winry Rockbell in Full Metal Alchemist . She is the German voice of Chyler Leigh in the hit series Grey's Anatomy .

From 2012 to 2015 she voiced Rachel Nichols in the role of Kiera Cameron in the science fiction series Continuum . From 2012 to 2016 she spoke again to Kristin Kreuk in the CBS series Beauty and the Beast . She also took over the German voice of Leslie Shay in the series Chicago Fire until their serial death at the end of the second season.

In the radio play Star Wars Dark Lord she can be heard as Padawan Olee Starstone , and in the radio play series Revelation 23 she speaks to the friend of the hacker Tron by the name of Tatjana Junk alias Nolo . In the radio play series Anne auf Green Gables by Titania Medien, Bierstedt played the leading role of Anne . In the Benjamin Blümchen radio play series, she speaks from episode 100 to episode 134 of Stella Stellini , a friend of Benjamin and Otto. In the 134th episode Farewell to Stella , the character leaves the series. Marie Bierstedt also reads the audio books in the House of Night and Vampire Academy series. 2018 also a read from Bierstedt appeared novel adaptation of The Nutcracker and the four kingdoms in Hörverlag - ISBN 978-3844530483 .
