Markus Appelmann

Markus Appelmann (born February 3, 1978 in Stuttgart ) is a German television and radio presenter .

Life

Appelmann grew up in Clausen near Pirmasens in Rhineland-Palatinate . After graduating from high school, he studied media studies , English and Spanish with a master's degree. He began his career as a presenter in 1998 at Rockland Radio in Rhineland-Palatinate . In 2004 he switched to the radio station RPR1 .

Appelmann has been on television since 2002. Among other things, he moderated the Franco-German magazine program Mosaik . Appelmann has been working at Sat.1 since 2008 . There he was, among others, the Sat.1 broadcast by the presentations 17:30 Sat.1 live known. During the Hessian state elections , he moderated the special programs with politicians.

From February 2010 to October 2014 he was the presenter of Planetopia , the Sat.1 knowledge magazine. In November 2010, Planetopia's own series of articles against the grain went on air for the first time. Since 2011, Appelmann has presented the political summer interviews, which are recorded on the roof terrace of the Media Service Center on the Mainz Lerchenberg .
