The Marlachwiesen nature reserve is located in the Bad Dürkheim district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The 103 ha area, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of September 15, 2008 , extends east of the city of Deidesheim on both sides of the B 271 between the local community of Niederkirchen near Deidesheim in the north and the local community of Ruppertsberg in the south. The eponymous Marlach flows to the south .

The area consists of open wet grassland areas in the transition area from the Haardtrand to the Böhler Lößplatte .
