Moroccan national ice hockey team

The Moroccan national ice hockey team is put together by the Moroccan ice hockey association. The team took part in the first Arab Cup of Ice Hockey in 2008 .

history

The national ice hockey team of Morocco has been playing official international matches since 2008. Her first participation in an official tournament was her participation in the first Arab Cup of Ice Hockey in June 2008, in which Morocco finished third of four places. Morocco clearly lost their first game 9-0 to the United Arab Emirates. The first goal for the newly formed national team was scored by Yassin Ahrazem in a 3-6 defeat against Kuwait.

Morocco has been an associate member of the IIHF since 2010.

After no games were played between 2009 and 2016, Morocco entered the newly founded Development Cup in 2017 . The team won the tournament.
