Maurice Trapp (born December 31, 1991 in Berlin ) is a German football player .

Career

Trapp began his football career in 1995. His first youth clubs were the DJK Schwarz-Weiß Neukölln (1995 to 2001) and Grün-Weiss Neukölln (2001 to 2003).

He has been playing for 1. FC Union Berlin since 2003 , where he initially played through various youth teams. In 2010 he was used in the reserve team. On the 34th matchday of the 2010/11 season he was substituted on in the game of Union Berlin's first team in the 46th minute for Boné Uaferro and thus played for the first time in the professional team.

At the beginning of 2013 Trapp switched to FC Hansa Rostock on loan . After the loan expired in the summer of 2013, Trapp returned to Union Berlin for the 2013/14 season . In the first team, however, he could not prevail and was again mainly used for the second team in the regional league.

In August 2014 he moved to the Regionalliga Nord for Goslarer SC 08. After only one season, he moved to the Berlin AK 07 in the also fourth-class Regionalliga Nordost for the 2015/16 season . In the 2017/18 season he played for Chemnitzer FC in the third division before moving to VfL Osnabrück for the 2018/19 season. With the Lower Saxony he was champions of the 3rd division and rose with the club in the 2nd Bundesliga .

Due to back problems, Trapp had to undergo a disc operation in the summer of 2019 and could not be used for the entire first half of the 2019/20 season.
