Maximilian "Max" Ramota (born July 29, 1977 in Cologne ) is a former German handball player who played in the Bundesliga .
Career
Ramota started playing handball at TuS Königsdorf and then joined VfL Gummersbach . The next station of the backcourt player was the SG Solingen . In the summer of 2000 he moved to the second division HSG Düsseldorf . After two seasons in Düsseldorf, Bundesliga club TBV Lemgo signed him, for whom his brother Christian also played. With Lemgo he won the German championship and the DHB Supercup in 2003 and the EHF Cup in 2006 .
Ramota returned to HSG Düsseldorf in the summer of 2006, which had meanwhile been promoted to the Bundesliga. With the HSG, Ramota was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2007 and returned to the House of Lords in 2009. In 2010 he ended his career there. From 2011 he played handball again and appeared for the second team from Ohligser TV. A year later he joined the HSV Solingen-Gräfrath .
Ramota trained a youth team at HSV Gräfrath. In the summer of 2014 he took over the men's association league club TSV Aufderhöhe. Under his leadership, TSV Aufderhöhe rose to the top league in 2015. In March 2017 he ended his coaching activity at TSV Aufderhöhe.
