Michael Kury (born August 30, 1978 ) is a former Austrian ski jumper .

Kury starts in 1995 in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . He was able to achieve third place in the overall standings with 758 points in his first season in 1995/96 . Due to this success, he made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup on December 30, 1995 at the opening competition of the Four Hills Tournament 1995/96 . In Oberstdorf he finished in 46th place. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen he was able to win World Cup points for the first time on January 1st, 1996 with the 26th place. At the end of 1995/96 he finished 84th in the overall World Cup ranking. In the jump ranking he reached the 81st place. At the Junior World Championships in 1996 in Asiago , Italy , he won the silver medal in team jumping together with Markus Eigenler , Martin Zimmermann and Karl-Heinz Dorner . In the Continental Cup he was able to occupy the 36th place in the overall ranking with 272 points in the 1996/97 season. On January 6, 1997, he started again in the World Cup in Bischofshofen , but was only 48 in the end. After he again achieved good performances in the Continental Cup in the 1997/98 season, he was reappointed to the World Cup team for the 1997/98 Four Hills Tournament and finished the tour in 42nd place in the tour's overall ranking. In Bischofshofen he was able to win World Cup points with the 28th place for the last time in his career. He ended the 1997/98 Continental Cup season with 634 points in 4th place overall. In March 1998 he jumped for the last time in ski flying in Vikersund in the World Cup, but could not achieve any top placements. After another rather unsuccessful year in the Continental Cup, Kury ended his active international ski jumping career in 1999.
