criticism

As Lord Mayor, Wolf was also chairman of the supervisory board of the Altenburg municipal housing company in 2000. In this double function, he managed, among other things, the purchase of the block of houses on Klostergasse , located west of the historic market square in the listed town center of Altenburg, in order to replace it with a new residential and commercial building with an underground car park and grocery store. The demolition of the houses, some of which are listed as individual monuments, was also heavily criticized nationwide.
