Michel Robert Carrega (born September 25, 1934 in Paris ) is a former French sports shooter in the trap .

successes

Michel Carrega took part in the Olympic Games four times . In 1968 he finished twelfth in Mexico City . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich he achieved the second-best result with 198 points after Angelo Scalzone , who set a new Olympic record with 199 points, and thus won the silver medal. Four years later he did not get past 31st place in Montreal . His last Olympic participation in 1984 in Los Angeles , he finished fifth.

In 1968 Carrega won the European Championship in Namur . In the individual he was in 1970 in Phoenix , 1971 in Bologna , 1974 in Bern and 1979 in Montecatini Terme champion . In 1974 he also secured the title with the team, while he won silver with her in 1970 and bronze in 1971 and 1979. In addition, he became vice world champion with the team again in Caracas in 1982 .
