The Military History Reports ( MGM ) is a German military journal on the subject of military history that appears every six months from June 5, 1967 to 1999 . The military history magazine (MGZ) has been its successor since 2000 .

The military history reports were published by the Military History Research Office (MGFA) in Potsdam (until 1994 Freiburg im Breisgau ) by Friedhelm Klein and Hans-Erich Volkmann . The last publishing house was Oldenbourg , from 1971 to 1990 Braun in Karlsruhe and from 1967 to 1970 Rombach in Freiburg im Breisgau.

The military history reports were already considered to be an "important interface between MGFA, university science and the interested public".
