The Mission sui juris Turkmenistan ( Latin : Missio sui iuris Turcmenistanianus ) is an administrative district of the Roman Catholic Church , which is congruent with the territory of the Republic of Turkmenistan .

The Turkmen mission sui juris is based in the capital Ashgabat and covers an area of ​​488,000 km². It was detached from the Apostolic Administration of Kazakhstan on September 29, 1997 and made independent with a single parish . It is directed by the Oblate Fathers (OMI).
