Montferland Run
The Montferland Run is a 15-kilometer road race in 's-Heerenberg in the Dutch municipality of Montferland , which has been held annually on the first Sunday in December since 1996. In 2010 the event was canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
The route of the main run with start and finish in the old town of 's-Heerenberg is a challenging circuit through the nearby forests. It runs along roads and paved paths past the villages of Stokkum, Beek and Zeddam. As part of the event, there will also be a 7.5 km run for everyone and a one-kilometer school run.
