Location of Muli County (pink) in Liangshan District (yellow) in Sichuan Province

The Autonomous District Muli Tibetan Autonomous County is located in the Liangshan Yi, in the Chinese province of Sichuan . Muli has an area of ​​13,252 km² and approx. 130,000 inhabitants (2003). Its administrative seat (main town) is the large municipality of Qiaowa.
