Nandini miter
Nandini Mitra (born February 25, 1975 in Hamburg ) is a German television presenter .
Life
Nandini Mitra is the daughter of an Indian textile merchant and a German senior teacher. She grew up in Hamburg. As a child she sang in Rolf Zuckowski 's children's choir , danced ballet and took part in dance tournaments. In 1995 Mitra completed her training as a dressmaker with Jil Sander . In 1996 she passed her high school diploma and from 1995 to 1997 completed training at the Stage School .
In 2005, Nandini Mitra began a correspondence course in journalism , which she completed in 2007.
Career
In 1997 she won a casting for the TV station MTV . In the following years she hosted the programs Summer Special Beach House , 50: 1 , In Touch , Fashion Zone and the live show Select MTV . In 1999 she took a guest role in the German RTL - soap opera Gute Zeiten , and was long seen there for three months as a nurse Lena. From 2001 Mitra moderated the Fit For Fun TV format on VOX . In addition, she regularly hosts galas and other events outside of television.
In July 2002 she was on the cover of the German Playboy edition.
Mitra was next to Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko , Uwe Seeler and Johannes B. Kerner as an advertising medium in the Hamburg application for the 2012 Olympic Summer Games (motto: "Fire and Flame").
She is committed to charitable institutions such as the Altona children's hospital and the Harburg youth center "Löwenhaus". In autumn 2008, Nandini Mitra and TV chef Alexander Herrmann were available as Pilates experts for the “Healthy Day” campaign for Allianz Private Health Insurance. In May 2009 Nandini Mitra took over the sponsorship of the baby elephant Shahrukh in Hamburg.
Since November 2012, Nandini Mitra has been hosting the games of the German Bundesliga in English for the sports channel Eurosport 2 with football expert Christian Ziege . In April 2014 she moderated - together with Christian Clerici - the gala of the Vienna Awards for Fashion and Lifestyle in Vienna. In July 2014 she won the Poetry Award 2014 under the expert jury of MS Europa - she consisted of captain Olaf Hartmann and literary critic Hellmuth Karasek, among others. Since July 2014 she has been a moderator for the 5 star team.
