Natalis (antipope)

Natalis was a figure in early church history who is sometimes considered the first Roman antipope .

Little is known about Natalis. Eusebius cites in his writings an unspecified earlier source that a Confessor ( confessor mentioned) called Natalis extending around 199 of the Adoptianisten the Bishop of Rome have had to appoint. Natalis quickly repented and wrapped herself in sackcloth and ashes, threw herself at Pope Zephyrinus ' feet and asked for a return to the church.
