Norbert Mahler

Norbert Mahler (born December 13, 1961 in Bayreuth ; † August 29, 2013 there ) was a German actor and director .

Life

Norbert Mahler attended an acting school in Berlin before initially playing roles on television. Then he got his first engagement at the Landestheater Detmold . He also directed himself : in 1996 he directed Herbert Achternbusch's Susn and in 2007 Edward Albee's Who is Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at the Studiobühne Bayreuth.

Norbert Mahler was best known in his role as Franconian public prosecutor Willi Kainz in Franz Xaver Bogner's court series Café perjury .

In Christian Lerch's debut film Was weg is, is weg he had a guest appearance as a bailiff. The two had been in front of the camera together for years in Café Perjury .
