Nossiwka ( Ukrainian Носівка ; Russian Носовка Nossowka ) is a city in the Chernihiv Oblast of Ukraine and the center of the raion of the same name with 13,700 inhabitants (as of 2017).
Administratively, the municipality is divided into the four villages Debrewe ( Дебреве ), Lissowi Chutory ( Лісові Хутори ), Lukaschiwka ( Лукашівка ) and Pidhajne ( Підгайне ) in addition to the actual city .
history
The city was first mentioned in 1147 under the name Nossiw na Rudi . 1960 Nossivka received the status of the city.
