Olivia Burnette

Olivia Burnette (born Olivia Nicole Burnette , born March 24, 1977 in San Clemente , California ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Burnette made her debut as a child on an episode of the 1985 television series Trio with Four Fists . In 1988, she received the first of the for her role in the television drama A Cheer for the Family (1987), in which she starred alongside Ed Begley junior and Diane Ladd so far eleven nominations for the Young Artist Award . She received two of these nominations (in 1992 and 1993) for appearances on the television series All My Children in 1991 and 1992. She received her last nomination for the Young Artist Award in 1995 for the role in the television drama ... and Hope for Love from 1994.

In the 1995 western Faster than Death , Burnette starred opposite Sharon Stone , Gene Hackman and Russell Crowe . In the thriller Eye for an Eye (1996), she played the murdered by Robert Doob ( Kiefer Sutherland ) daughter of Karen McCann ( Sally Field ), who is avenged by her mother. Burnette then moved from Los Angeles to New York City , where she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University . She completed her studies with degrees in English and film arts.

Burnette co-produced the short film Mountain Cry from 2000. She married the composer Julian Sakata , with whom she lives in Southern California . Her younger brother Justin also worked as a child actor.
