The book is divided into chronological order. It begins with the first isolated occurrence of the zombies, followed by the worldwide panic reaction, the initially severe catastrophes for the different nations and humanity in general and in the end the victory over the zombie plague. One focus of the interviews is on the social, economic and political issues that arise after the outbreak of the zombie virus, its fight and the destruction of the global danger that arises from the zombies.
