Parami ( Paramin ) is an East Timorese suco in the Atsabe administrative office ( Ermera municipality ).

Before the 2015 regional reform, Parami had an area of ​​3.41 km². Now there are 21.01 km². The Suco lies to the east of the Atsabe administrative office. To the north and east is the Suco Baboi Craic , south of the Suco Malabe and west of the Suco Laclo .

In Parami are the places Paramin , Aliatu , Asio , Airae ( Airai ), Aileso ( Ailisu ), Atubuti ( Atabuti ) and Atupae .

In the Suco there are the six Aldeias Airae , Aliatu / Aileso , Asio , Atubuti , Atupae and Ilat .

Residents

1683 inhabitants (2015) live in the Suco, of which 820 are men and 863 women. The population density is 80.1 inhabitants / km². There are 287 households in the Suco. Over 65% of the population state Kemak as their mother tongue. Almost 32% speak Mambai , over 2% Tetum Prasa .

politics

In the elections of 2004/2005 was Bruno Fernandes Monteiro elected Chefe de Suco and in 2009 re-elected.
