Peter Matz
Peter Matz (born November 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , † August 9, 2002 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American composer , arranger and orchestra conductor .
life and work
As a composer, Peter Matz mainly worked for television films, specials and series. He also worked with several well-known artists, such as Liza Minnelli , who released her first solo LP Liza! In 1964 under his direction . Liza! Recorded on Capitol Records ; He was also responsible for the music for the film Stepping Out , in which she played the lead role. Peter Matz was also the composer of the musical Funny Lady with Barbra Streisand and the controversial "porn musical" Alice in Wonderland with Kristine DeBell in the leading role.
