Philips de Koninck
Philips de Koninck (also Philip Konink and numerous name variations) (born November 5, 1619 in Amsterdam ; † before October 4, 1688 or October 6, 1688 there) was a Dutch painter and draftsman .
Life
Koning trained as a landscape painter with Rembrandt and preferred to depict extensive flat landscapes, which are characterized by the size of the conception. He died in 1689.

Some of his rare paintings are in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam , Frankfurt am Main and the Brukenthal paintings collection in Hermannstadt (Sibiu) in Romania .
