Prize of Eastern Switzerland

The Prize of Eastern Switzerland was an automobile racing event that was held four times between 1948 and 1951 in the municipality of Erlen in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland .

The race was held on a triangular road course around Erlen on Lake Constance . The route was 2.816 km long, consisted of three long straights separated by three hairpin bends and was driven clockwise . Start and finish with pit lane were on today's main road . After the first bend, the line led in a north-easterly direction over today's Bahnhofstrasse and then turned right and south onto today's Poststrasse . After the third hairpin bend, she turned back west onto the home straight.
