The Badajoz Province is a province in the Extremadura Autonomous Community ( Spain ). With 21,766.28 km² it is the largest province in Spain , its population is 673,559 (2019). It is located in the west of the country and borders the province of Cáceres in the north, the Autonomous Community of Castile-La Mancha in the east, the Autonomous Community of Andalusia in the south and Portugal in the west .
