Ray Miller

Ray Miller (real name Rainer Müller ; born  February 10, 1941 in Berlin ) is a German pop singer .

Career

In 1963, at the age of 22, Miller became the youngest editor-in-chief of Bastei Verlag , where he was responsible for the field of “artist biographies and photos”. In 1964 Miller worked for the first time as a DJ in the Cologne discotheque "Orchestrion", which was run by jazz musician Joe Buschmann . From 1966, Germany-wide appearances as a DJ followed.

In 1967 Miller published his first songs on the record label Electrola, founded in 1925 . As a copywriter , he was responsible for the title Tonight by Peter Beil in 1970 , which was successfully placed in the radio station charts.

Miller experienced his most successful time as a singer between 1967 and 1971. The focus of his songs was the love for women, which was reflected in the titles of his singles. His greatest success is the song Caroline , which reached number 11 on the charts. With his albums Miller could not occupy any chart positions.

In 1994 Miller celebrated his 30th stage anniversary as a DJ in Cologne. In 1999 he took part in the 50s festival at the turn of the millennium.

Miller's album Girls, Girls, Girls was completed in 2001. This was followed by appearances in the Hans-Süper-Gala (2002) and in the Närrische Hitparade (2003). From 2005 to 2007 Miller worked for the former German television station Traumpartner TV , which belongs to the RTL group .
