Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum (* 20th October 1977 in Ulm as Rebecca Siemoneit ) is a German actress and entrepreneur . From 1990 she became known as "Iffi" Zenker in Lindenstrasse .

Life

Circus Barum

As the daughter of Gerd Siemoneit-Barum , director of Circus Barum , she grew up as a circus child and artist . She completed basic acrobatic training from the age of three and performed for the first time with a goat dressage in the ring at the age of four . When she was nine, she and two other children were a rubber acrobat in the arena; she was trained for this by artists from the Barum Ensemble.

From 2001 until the end of the game in October 2008 she was the artistic director of the circus. In December 2012 and 2013, Siemoneit-Barum produced the “Circus Barum Christmas Spectacle” in Göttingen .

Television career

From 1990 (episode 220) to 2020 (episode 1758) she played the role of Iphigenie "Iffi" Zenker in Lindenstrasse . For this role, she moved to Cologne at the age of twelve while her family toured the circus. Between episodes 1411 in December 2012 and 1513 in December 2014, she took a break, during which she appeared in numerous theater productions.

In 1995 she moderated the youth magazine Lollo rosso . In 2015 she took part in the RTL reality show Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! part and took seventh place there. At the same time, she and Willi Herren published the duet Wir sind noch hier . In January 2017, she took second place alongside her coach Gil Ofarim as a singer on the RTL show It Takes 2 .

Political commitment

In 2010 she joined the CDU and ran in 2011 in the Lower Saxony municipal elections for the district council of the Northeim district and the city council of Einbeck .

Private life

Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum is Jewish and a German as well as British citizen. She is married to the artist Pierre Bauer, with whom she ran the production company Barum und Bauer Performance GmbH. The couple have two children.

In October 2005 she took over the patronage of the Alopecia Areata Deutschland e. V.
