Richard Aeschlimann
Richard François Aeschlimann (born February 21, 1944 in Yverdon , Switzerland , lives in Langnau in Emmental and in Lausanne ) is a Swiss painter , graphic artist , draftsman , object artist and designer . He is also a well-known gallery owner and writer .

Richard Aeschlimann is best known for his drawings, watercolors and aquatint works. As a graphic artist, he has also illustrated numerous books . He also created objects from alienated everyday objects.
In 1972 he took part in Documenta 5 in Kassel in the Department of Parallel Imagery: Science Fiction . There, some of his drawings were shown - including utopian coffee pots - and an absurd toilet as an object, which he had alienated by installing a fruit press insert in the seat.
