Richard Hey
Heinz-Richard Hey (born May 15, 1926 in Bonn , † September 4, 2004 in Berlin ) was a German writer and radio play author .
Life
Richard Hey was the eldest son of forensic doctor Rolf Hey . He grew up in Greifswald and Frankfurt am Main . After the end of the Second World War he studied music, history and German studies, albeit without completing the degree. Before starting his writing career, he worked as an assistant director and music critic .
Richard Hey is particularly well known for his crime novels and his radio play versions of the books Sophie's World and The Name of the Rose . One of his well-known series heroines is Berlin inspector Katharina Ledermacher . He also wrote numerous scripts and worked as a translator . a. the comedies of Eduardo De Filippo . From 1972 to 1978 he worked - together with Uwe Timm , Uwe Friesel and Hannelies Taschau - as publisher of the AutorEdition at Bertelsmann- Verlag.
