Ron Ellis (* 20th century ) is an American film director , screenwriter and film producer who was awarded an Oscar in 1980 for his short film Board and Care .

Film work

Backtrack is the title of a film by Ron Ellis, released in 1976, about a man who returns to the place where his daughter lives, whom he left more than eight years ago. For his 1979 resulting Short Film Board and Care about two mentally disabled people who fall in love and a future plan, Ellis was in 1980 together with Sarah Pillsbury produced, with seeing the movie, an Oscar in the category "Best Short Film" (Live Action) excellent.
