Rudolf Birbaumer

Rudolf Birbaumer (born April 11, 1876 in Linsberg ; † January 7, 1947 in Baden ) was an Austrian politician ( GDVP ), secondary school teacher and writer. Birbaumer was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1919 to 1932 and a member of the Federal Council from 1920 to 1927 .

Life

Birbaumer graduated from the teacher training college in Wiener Neustadt and worked as a secondary school teacher from 1895. He taught in Wiener Neustadt, Lichtenwörth , Pottschach and Gloggnitz . Birbaumer was politically active between 1913 and 1927 as a councilor in Wiener Neustadt, and from 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament . He was subsequently a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament between May 11, 1921 and May 21, 1932 and was the third President of the State Parliament in the second legislative period between May 20, 1927 and May 21, 1932. He also represented Lower Austria from December 1, 1920 to May 20, 1927 in the Federal Council. Birbaumer joined the NSDAP in 1932.
