Football section
Borussia Friedrichsfelde was founded in 1920 as the football department of MTV Eiche Friedrichsfelde . In August 1924, MTV Eiche Friedrichsfelde was renamed SC Borussia 1920 and was largely involved in the championship of the Brandenburg Ball Game Association . Friedrichsfelde played no sporting role until 1945, and possible qualifications for the Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg were not achieved.
In 1945 the club was dissolved and re-established as SG Friedrichsfelde . The sports group took part in the qualifying round for the Berlin City League , but only came in last in the table with just three points. The SG retained its independence until 1956, after which it was affiliated with the BSG Motor Lichtenberg . Motor Lichtenberg acted several times briefly in the East Berlin District League, but was never able to establish itself permanently.
In 1990 the BSG returned to the historical name Borussia Friedrichsfelde. Since then, the club has played in the local area of Berlin without exception. The current division is season 3 of the district league B Berlin.
