Sandra Salzgeber (* 29. May 1974 in Laufenburg AG as Sandra cold ) is a former Swiss wheelchair tennis player .

Career

Sandra Salzgeber started wheelchair tennis at the age of 21 and started in the paraplegic class .

She took in 2004 at the Paralympics in Athens in part. In the individual, she was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Florence Gravellier . In the doubles competition, she and her partner Karin Suter-Erath reached the semifinals, which they lost to Sakhorn Khanthasit and Chanungarn Techamaneewat . They then won the game for third place and the bronze medal against Chiyoko Ohmae and Mie Yaosa .

In the world rankings, she achieved her best placings with 13th place in singles on August 8, 2005 and also with tenth place in doubles on May 30, 2005. She played her last tournament in May 2013.
