At the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens , medals were awarded in six wheelchair tennis competitions.
The decisions were made between September 19 and 26, 2004 at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex .
In the Paralympic tennis competitions, athletes had to have massive functional restrictions in at least one leg. Athletes with three or four limbs (quadriplegics) started mixed. The competitions for quadriplegics were held for the first time.
