Geonosis

As Geonose (from Greek. Geo "earth" and nosos "disease") or Sapronose (Greek. Σαπρός Sapros rotten ') are infectious diseases designated transmitted not only by direct contact, but also through the soil ubiquitously occurring pathogen triggered become. The infection can occur through soiling of wounds or through ingestion of contaminated food or feed.

Geonoses are, for example, tetanus and other clostridial infections such as intoxication , gas fire and Tyzzer's disease as well as melioidosis and listeriosis .
