The Schüsselkarspitze is a mountain in the eastern part of the Wetterstein Mountains on the state border between Austria (state of Tyrol ) and Germany (state of Bavaria ). It is one of the most famous climbing mountains in the Northern Limestone Alps . A large number of challenging climbing routes lead, in particular, through the huge slabs of the south face. In the summit area of the Schüsselkarspitze there is a permanently installed bivouac box that offers climbers refuge in emergencies.

According to Leberle, the first ascent of the Schüsselkarspitze was achieved in 1894 by Heinrich Moser and Oscar Schuster over the northern flank. Until then, the summit was considered inaccessible due to a few unsuccessful attempts.

Valley locations are Garmisch-Partenkirchen , Leutasch and Mittenwald .
