Sepp Schauer (born July 5, 1949 in Munich ) is a German actor .

life and career

Sepp Schauer started out as an innkeeper before he switched to the stage at the age of 30. He took private acting lessons from Christine Görner .

In addition to his work in films and television, Schauer is also involved in theater stages, for example in the theater tent Das Schloss and at the Theater rechts der Isar in Munich. From 1981 to 1996 he was a member of the ensemble of the Iberl stage with Georg Maier in Munich-Solln, where he appeared in over 1,500 performances.

Schauer was on television from 1993 through his role as Dr. Günther Hofer known in the series Wildbach . He played in all 52 episodes of this mountain rescue series. In 2001 he played in the award-winning multi-part TV series Der Tanz mit dem Teufel - Die Entführung des Richard Oetker . Since the first episode in September 2005 Schauer plays in the ARD - telenovela Sturm der Liebe the hotel porter Alfons Sonnbichler . In 2009 he was named the most popular actor in the series. From episode 986 (December 2009) to episode 1033 (March 2010) he also played the role of the homeless Gustl Moosburger (Alfons' half-brother) in Storm of Love , which was only a minor role. Schauer slipped into the double role three more times in 2011, 2012 and from December 2013 to January 2014. He also had episode roles in television series such as Monaco Franze , The Millionaire Farmer , Café Perjury , Forsthaus Falkenau , SOKO 5113 , Der Bulle von Tölz , Kir Royal , Tatort and Medicopter 117 .

The musical accompaniment was Robert Merkel until autumn 2008 and since then Heinz-Josef Braun , who was the bass player of the Lower Bavarian music group Haindling and is now active as a cabaret artist and actor.
