societies

In May 2013 she reached the cup final with Bristol, but despite a good performance they lost it 3-0 against Arsenal. In 2014, she then moved to Arsenal, but could not prevail against the Irish national goalkeeper Emma Byrne and only played one role in 2014. There was also one game in 2015, after which she switched to Notts County Ladies FC on loan after their goalkeeper Carly Telford sustained a shoulder injury during the World Cup. Ultimately, however, she could not oust Telford and only had two missions. Only at the next station, the Liverpool FC Women , she became a regular goalkeeper for three seasons. Then she moved to the new second division club Manchester United and helped to rise as a champion in the FA Women's Super League . In the 2019/20 season she could not be used due to her pregnancy.

She made her first international match on September 22, 2004 against the Netherlands .

She took part as a substitute goalkeeper at the 2007 World Cup and the 2009 European Championship and was nominated for the 2011 World Cup , but not used.

At the Cyprus Cup 2014 , which England finished second, she was in goal in all four games due to the injury of the two regular goalkeepers and only had to accept two goals in the final against France.

In 2015 she was part of the squad that won the Cyprus Cup in 2015 , where she was in goal in the final against Canada , and then to the squad for the World Cup in Canada. But she was only substituted once when the goalkeeper Karen Bardsley had to be substituted in the quarter-finals against Canada due to an eye injury when the score was 2-1. She did not concede a goal, but Bardsley took her place again in the unlucky semi-final against defending champions Japan . Your team then managed to win against Germany for the first time in the third place match .

In 2016 she was nominated for the SheBelieves Cup and two friendlies at the end of the year, but not used. For this she was used in two qualifying games for the 2017 European Championship. At the finals she was in goal in three games. In the quarter-finals against France she came into play in the 75th minute because Karen Bardsley broke her leg.

In qualifying for the 2019 World Cup , which began after the European Championship , it was used in the first two games. At the SheBelieves Cup 2018 she was in goal in a 2-2 win against Germany.
