Stø is a fishing village in Norway . It is located at the northern end of the Vesterålen island Langøya . The place is mainly known for the whale safaris that start from here and the nearby old fishing village of Nyksund , which can be reached on foot from Stø via the Queen's Path. There is a radar station on the coast .

Around 200 people live in Stø all year round. The main livelihood of the inhabitants is fishing . Stø has its own fish factory and a salmon farm . Another source of income comes from tourism in summer . The Stø mobile home camp is located directly at the harbor .
