List of Bundeswehr aircraft
The list of aircraft of the Bundeswehr contains all aircraft of the Bundeswehr since it was set up in 1955. It also includes types that are in the process of being procured. Aircraft types that have not made it past the testing phase with the troops, the military technical department or the German Aerospace Research Institute are listed under experimental and trial samples . In total, the Bundeswehr currently (as of June 2020) has a fleet of around 354 fixed-wing aircraft, around 317 helicopters and around 604 unmanned systems. Three models ( C-160D Transall , Bell UH-1D and Westland Sea King ) with currently approx. 65 units are currently being withdrawn.
