The Percival Pembroke (P.66) was a twin-engine multi-purpose aircraft at the time of the Cold War, from British production. It was developed from the Percival Prince by Edgar Wickner Percival . The Percival Aircraft Ltd. produced a total of 136 copies in different variants from 1952 to 1958.

Stationed in Germany

In 1957 the Federal Republic of Germany ordered 33 Pembroke C.Mk.54 . Of these, 23 were delivered to the Air Force , 6 to the German Navy and 4 to the Army . These served as transport and liaison aircraft as well as survey and training aircraft with the nickname "PEM".
A Bundeswehr Pembroke was lost in an engine explosion; During the emergency landing near Eckernförde, the crew was able to save themselves unharmed. This machine (54 + 08) is exhibited in the Aeronauticum in Nordholz . A Pembroke C.Mk.54 (54 + 21) can be seen in the aircraft exhibition Hermeskeil , Rhineland-Palatinate. The Pembroke AS + 558/54 + 07 is exhibited in the Military History Museum at Berlin-Gatow Airfield .
The RAF Germany stationed in RAF Wildenrath from January 1959 to around 1990 up to seven Pembroke C.Mk.1 , which were operated by the RAF Germany Communications Squadron ( 60th Squadron from February 1969 ).
