Constitutional Law (Switzerland)
In Switzerland, constitutional law is a sub-area of public law. It encompasses the Federal Constitution , the relationship between the Confederation and the cantons , the tasks and functioning of the federal authorities , the legislative procedure, the political rights of citizens , the basic constitutional decisions ( democracy , rule of law , welfare state , federal state ) and constitutional jurisdiction .
