In the 2013 season she played in the newly founded National Women's Soccer League , the highest American professional league in women's football, for the Boston Breakers . For the 2014 season, she switched to league rivals Seattle Reign FC in exchange for Kristie Mewis and Michelle Betos and to Western New York Flash a year later. There she came due to an injury and the World Cup only to three missions in the early phase of the season. For the 2016 season, she joined the reigning champions FC Kansas City , but missed the entire season due to her pregnancy. Two years later she switched to the Orlando Pride franchise .
