The gymnastics and sports club Ilshofen 1862 eV is a sports club from Ilshofen in the Hohenlohe region of Baden-Württemberg . The club is best known for its men's soccer team, which has been playing in the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga since the 2018/19 season . The football department plays its home games on the sports facility on Aspacher Strasse.
history
TSV Ilshofen was founded in 1862. As of June 2018, the soccer division, which was founded in 1921, with around 1,450 members, is the fifth largest club in the district from the 1st team, which for the 2018/19 season after the relegation success over the Freiburg FC for the first time rose to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg , down to the G youth. The club has had a women's division since 1995, the first team of which is currently represented in the Hohenlohe district league. Since 2009 the TSV has also been running the first youth soccer academy in the Schwäbisch Hall district .
In addition to football, the TSV Ilshofen club as a whole offers its members 10 other sports such as karate , health sports , table tennis , gymnastics and badminton . It also enables participation in a wide variety of courses in the club 's own children's sports school . In the gymnastics division, most members are involved even before the footballers.
