The End of the Game (German: The end of the game ) is an American documentary short film by Robin Lehman in 1975. Lehman and Claire Wilbur , who produced the film together, were at the 48th Academy Awards in 1976 for her Work awarded an Oscar .

content

Lehman grants a very personal, detailed view of the panorama of the African animal world and the reciprocity that exists between the animals. It is important to convey to him what it feels like to be in the natural jungle habitats and how essential nature conservation is. The recordings, which were taken in Zaire , Kenya and Tanzania , allow the viewer a view that wanders from an anthill to the majestic giraffes that are suckling their young. The ritual dances of the dung beetles, duels between the animals for supremacy, the fight for food and African storms are illustrated.

When a bullet breaks the silence, the animals take off one by one.
