The Tanks Are Coming is a 1941 American short film .

In the spring of 1941, President Roosevelt ordered heightened military readiness. New York taxi driver Malovski takes his cab to Fort Knox, Kentucky to enroll in the Army. He comes to a tank division where he learns to drive the tank, fire the guns, and repair the tank. The first maneuvers are to be held in mid-June. A sergeant, a former traffic policeman, warns Malovski because he has his taxi at the base. The Colonel wants Malovski to take his taxi away. Malovski hides his taxi in an old hut. Then the maneuver begins in which the narrator of the film provides information about the growing military strength of the USA.
